If you're in a hurry, and don't have time to browse in the store while we go through your items, you have the option of leaving them with us as a "drop-off". This means we will evaluate your items when we can, (typically within 24 to 48 hours) and we'll post your credit totals to your account. All items we are not able to use will be donated or discarded - we cannot hold them for you to pick up later.
If you prefer to receive cash, we ask that you either wait in the store, or return that same day, by 6pm, the closing time of the buy counter.
If you would like to take back the items we were not able to use, you must return by 6:00 p.m. on the day you brought in your items.
We process customers' items in the order they come in. The wait time for a buy is typically between 30 to 60 minutes. During busy times (weekends, holidays, summer break) the wait time can be over an hour.
If you want the cash option or would like to take back any of the items we are unable to use, you must return by 6:00 p.m. on the same day.
Title Wave Books
Title Wave buys and trades for thousands of books and other items every week, and there is always a steady stream of new arrivals hitting our shelves.
If you have books, DVDs, music CDs, vinyl LPs and audio book CDs that you'd like to sell or trade, we'd love to take a look. If we can use your items in our inventory, our experienced buyers are happy to make a cash offer - or pay a higher amount in trade credit to spend here in the store.
We always pay a fair price based on our estimate of the Title Wave resale price for your items.
We are delighted to make a cash offer for the items we need, however, we are able to pay a much higher amount in store credit. If you prefer the store credit, you can spend it anytime over the next two years.
**Trade Credit expires only after two calendar years with no activity; no credit being added to or spent from the account, in a two year period.
INTAKE COUNTER HOURS
Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
When bringing in items to trade, we recommend arriving no later than 5:00 PM. If you are arriving later than 5:30, we may not have time to process your buy on that day. If that is the case, we can still process the buy as a “drop-off” but we would be unable to offer you cash, or give you back the items we are unable to use.

Because of the extraordinary volume of books and other items we see, and in order to minimize the wait time for all our customers, we have a strict limit of two (2) containers of books per day. If you are bringing in media (CDs, DVDs, Vinyl, Audiobooks) we have a limit of one (1) container per day, due to the time it takes to check the condition of these items.
Because of the large amount of books and other items we see on a daily basis we have to limit our intake to give all of our customers a fair experience.
A "container" equals one banker-box sized carton, or a medium-sized bag, or one of our gray plastic tubs (the same size as the TSA tubs you see at airport security).
Please sort your items for condition before you bring them in, and please bring no more than two containers per visit.
